What are the opinions on the riverrock, does anyone know what % of lx470's are riverrock

I'm not sure about the riverock color, but I would imagine that whatever is the most popular color for vehicles in general, would be worth the most. For now, that color is silver. Last time I checked, they don't really make an LX470 in a pure silver. It is sort of a metallic gray, but it is still the idea of a metallic light shade which is so popular right now. In fact, I ended up purchasing a 2000 Land Cruiser over an LX470, because I was able to find a silver shade that is closer to my liking. It is called "Champagne Metallic", which is basically a fancy name for a slightly metallic silver.

of getting a paint job??? my '98 is black right now, and thinking of getting a pearl white paint job. what do y'alls think, would my re-sale value go way down????

Don't do it, man. Black is a great color. It also matches your GS, and looks good in the garage together. If you had a barfy color like maroon, then I'd say go for it. I once had a maroon LX, and I absolutely hated the color. To each his own, but I think you will find that black is one of the more desireable colors, and to paint it would be a pain in the a$$. Just think about the inside doorframes, etc. that wouldn't match. The list is endless of small areas that would not match up.
