Acceleration problem
I have a 2006 lx470
I’ve an issue I can’t find a solution for, a month ago the car drives normal and sometimes for example at traffic lights I press the gas pedal all the way in and car not moving for about 10 seconds and RPM not going up.
Things I tried to fix the issue:
After doing all of this the issue stoped for a week and 2 days ago started back again worst now every time I hit the brakes or slow the speed I have to press the gas pedal half way or all the way to get to car going, cold morning the car cranks/starts fine no problem and when I drive for awhile when the engine is hot it cranks but takes longer to start. I don’t know what’s the issues or the solution.

Things I tried to fix the issue:
- Changed fuel filter.
- Checked spark plugs.
- Checked and cleaned O2 sensor.
- Cleaned injections, air system and catalyst converter.
- Checked and cleaned air filter.
- Cleaned the throttle.
- Replaced gas cap.
- Checked gas pedal.

Hello,
Throwing part on problems rarely yields a solution. Get an OBD2 scan tool and check Engine Live Data while at idle, and while accelerating. Pay close attention to Fuel Trims and Engine Load, as well as MAF and A/F sensor. Fuel Trims should be as close to 0 as possible, above 10% is a reason for a concern, MAF sensor should read something close to 5g/sec, if it is significantly lower, there may be a vacuum leak in the engine.
Hope this helps and best of luck!
