just re-reading this thread. and a car sitting for 4 years with modern gas in it is going to have VARNISH in the injectors.
it will not run smooth until that is cleaned out. A boatload of techron, maybe a new bottle at every other gas fillup?

if that does not do it, you might need to have the fuel system taken apart and serviced.

Not sure where the fuel filter is in an LX, but it may need replacement too.

Lol you need nothing but some good 93 gas and a very heavy foot. Throw some octane booster/cleaner/whatever in there if you wish.

It may take a tank or two, it'll be fine. 5.7 is absolutely indestructible.
