I have the exact same car as yours 2017 Black LX570 with Burgundy Interior and the front seat back Entertainment system that I have no use for. Bought in 2020 and now has 31.5 k miles on the clock, it has been a great suv.

I love that burgundy interior. I was aiming for that but came across this one which had all the options I wanted except for the interior color.

The pictures you posted show burgundy color, which matches what I have. Unless I am calling the wrong name for that color.

Oh, gotcha. That photo is from the listing for the little storage pockets that I purchased. My LX570 has a black interior. You can see it in the various videos I've posted in the thread

First impression is not good…it’s in the way when I buckle up…they might be going back, purchased two but only opened one.
more to follow.

Default PCV Valve replacement and part numbers

Just starting to make my way through the baseline maintenance. Started with a simple one, replaced the PCV valve. Upon inspection the old one was still working, but had some crud in it that I could hear grinding around as it opened and shut. Easy replacement that takes just a few minutes for peace of mind, less chance of oil burning, and sometimes better MPG.

There are two part numbers for the PCV valve. Make sure to get the correct one. I put the part numbers and the links to all of them in the video description.

I also put the links to replacement clips for the plastic covers in the video description, which are great to have extras on hand!

Here's the video for you guys that might be replacing your PCV valve to use as a visual. There are slight differences in the plastic engine cowl covers throughout the years, but the PCV valve location is still the same.

Definitely! Always good to have extra clips in the toolbox. There's always a couple of them that break and need replacement. And $7 shipped for 40 replacement clips is an easy decision to keep them around for when you need them.

This video is LONG. I ordered the cheapest Retrofit kit to upgrade my 2017 Lexus LX570 and install Apple Carplay and Android Auto. This kit was $289 on Amazon with free shipping. It arrived in 1 day to my door. I had my doubts since other similar kits on the market are anywhere from $600 to $1200. The instructions were terrible and almost non-existent. The wiring was not that easy to figure out due to lack of instructions. And it was my first time taking most of the dash, the screen, and the radio apart and removing them on this 2017 LX570, so it took me some extra time while I was being careful not to break any mounting tabs.

This works on the 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 LX570.

I show all my trial and error in this video, so it is quite long. Make sure to watch the entire video before doing your installation. Because I made a few mistakes along the way that I showed. I thought about cutting those parts out and just showing you the right way to do it. But I thought it would be better to show you all my mistakes as well incase you run into some of the same problems.

In the end the solution is great, and for only $289 it is 1/2 or 1/3 the price of any other solution that comes close. It works with both Apple Iphone and also Android phones. The next/previous buttons still work to skip songs, the answer and hangup buttons on the steering wheel still work to answer phone calls, and the audio quality seems to be good as well. I'm not an audio expert, but it sounds about the same as stock to me.

The exact kit I purchased was this one:
The link to the Amazon listing is in the video description. Just open the video on YouTube and you’ll see the link there.

I finally got around to installing the two piece storage solution upgrade. A few days in and I use it every single time I drive. My sunglasses, my cellphone, and my wallet all end up in there and it leaves my cupholders free. My wife also has a place to put her cellphone once she gets bored of scrolling through social media brainwashing

Link to the exact one I purchased is in the video description. They have a variation for the 2008-2015 LX570 and one for the 2016-2021 LX570

Here's the full video, enjoy!

Awesome video and review.
I see these in my future, the ones i purchased, see above, are terrible.
We just did a 1500 mile roadtrip and we need better storage.
why did Toyota drop the ball on storage.

there is a seller on amazon, but is almost three times as much as Aliexpress, $150 vs $60 pair
Amazon Amazon

and this one on eBay is going for $150 for one

Thinking about vinyl wrapping the wood trim in the 2017 LX570. Anyone else done this? Thoughts? Photos if you have done it on yours? Votes for or against it?? Video with the two vinyls I bought samples of to choose between below. Black Brushed Steel or Black Best Etched. Still not sure which route to go yet.
