That thing a landcruiser prado in the rest of the world, the name has been around for years. It's 4runner / GX size. The new one is probably based off the new TX or vise versa.

 

i saw an article a few weeks ago about the LC coming back to North America as a cheaper, smaller vehicle. Many places in the world continue to receive the full size version.

 

that's not a 100/200/300 series replacement. It's a Prado-ish LC. If you're already an LX/LC owner looking for your next upgrade, more than likely this will not be the route you go. This seems to be more of Toyota's answer to the ford Bronco.

 

Prado is also a LC. I suppose this is how Toyota is trying to trick everyone into thinking that this is a next step for LC300. It isn't. they should have called it for what it is - LC Prado.
