It may lack dual climate control and smaller than the competition but I see a lot more of 2003 and over models on the streets of Nassau County then Range Rovers. It is a SUV that has aged well imo.

I can't wait for the new LX , glad to see it's not leaving.

 

If its going to be the LX, I hope it will have the LS ML soundsystem as standard.

If it will be the next LX, they will be replacing the GX with the JX (LF-X) most probably.

 

the LF-X looks like its an RX replacement. I just took a look at it and thats what i feel right off the bat

I hate to say this but that landcruiser is one fugly suv. I really hope the Lexus doesnt look anything like that.

 

The more I look at it the more I see an oversized RAV4.

 

Yea the rav4 looks better, but i see how they are similar. Either way that is one ugly truck.

You know, I really don't think that's a Toyota. I know it sounds corny, with the badging, grill, and steering wheel emblem, but there are some very un-toyota-ish styling cues.

Chrome door handles?
Interior door handles not color coordinated, and very very large.
Bling blackout around headlights.
Taillights appear to be non-LED.
Shifter gate bezel is sunken rather than raised.

...those are just off the top of my head.

Notice how the steering wheel is a totally different color than anything else in the interior, like it was just slapped on.

I'm am going WAAAAAAY out on a limb here, but my opinion is that is the new Mitsubishi Montero.

Dont worry about it. I am 99% sure that it's a new LC.

base landcruise VX are pretty ugly when not fully equipped. But in US, landcruiser are usally top of the line VX limited and I am sure it will look way nicer than what you see in these pictures.

Well they shouldnt even think about bringing that here or even throwing a L sign on it. Because that truck is very very very ugly. There is no way thats the new LX/LC, that chassis looks way to small for a full size truck. This looks like foreign version of the GX/4runner.

They aren't replacing anything with the JX, the JX is being added to the SUV lineup. It's a performance SUV to compete with Porsche, X5, FX.

 

Guys, calm down. Lexus always delivers an amazing car and SUV. Wait for the real ones to come out!
