Tough to say much from one pic, but I suppose it is about what should have been expected from the spy shots. Not wild about the front end (as near as I can tell), but it probably just needs to grow on me. I'm assuming those are the optional 20s...

Looks like my 2004 4runner SE, without the hood scoop. what happened to the body cladding that made it look classy and gave all that sheet metal some protection. It will also be next to impossible to put off road bumpers on that thing. So the only good thing is the engine/transmission. Makes me want to wait and see what the next GX will look like that might be the way to go in the future?

If that is what it's going to look like, I am wildly disappointed. That looks like a Suzuki front end...and those wheels? And the bump on the rear end?

thats it, thats the vehicle i saw pics of back in november, just as i described it: l-finesse front end, keeps the clam-shell rear, no cladding to clean up the lines of the vehicle. yes, thats the lx570.

With the cladding lines and fenderwells gone, it reminds me of the Mitsubishi SUV. No way to put replacement bumpers on that...it's gonna have to be all custom.

I am very underwhelmed and I hope the interior makes up for the very bland exterior. This is the first new Lexus in a long time that I not excited about.

I suppose i should wait to see it in person, but the front end still looks 'off' to me...why do you suppose they couldn;t find a way to incorporate the existing and distinctive 4 lens concept as they did with the GS (ie it didn;t HAVE to go away as part of the refresh)? as is, it looks like a bit of an anonymous / somewhat bulbous creature that doesn't have a hook to grab you.

I was never exited with anticipation for any truck-based SUV with real off-road capability to begin with(can't see myself ever getting one) & I am still underwhelmed

Sigh. Apparently they stuck w/ the overgrown RAV-4 concept. I guess I'll have to pin my hopes on the LC.
