HIDs INSIDE THE CABIN!
#17
So far I've replaced 14. I haven't figured out how to access the glovebox light and the lights on the side view mirrors outside. I will not put LEDs in the headlight housing as they may melt due to the heat. A nice glass Polarg bulb will do in there. I will also leave the amber front turn signal bulbs. If you get the right kind of bulbs they are just as bright as glass bulbs. LED technology has improved on lumens over the years. As far as the bulb types, your manual has some info but its best to take the bulbs out and make sure what type you are replacing, especially the festoon bulbs (you need to measure the length). I've attached a guide for you all:
Qty where bulb type
2x reverse 921
1x glovebox 37
2x running board 168
4x interior dome 168
4x inside door
courtesy lights 168
1x trunk cargo DE3175 festoon
2x vanity mirrors festoon 1-1/8"L & 1/4W
1x over third row festoon 1-1/4"L & 3/8"W a DE3175 like the
trunk/cargowill fit
2x parking lights 168 (GLASS I wouldn't recommend LED due to the
heat
Hope this helps.
I'll post pics of the other installs later.

LOL I thought the title would peak some interest Thanks all! rspjr05, as PaPaHoFF stated "Those are LED's and just pop out the light housing and replace the bulbs with the correct sizes and colors of your choice." I provided the bulb sizes so now you have all the info you need so go 4 it! The only slightly difficult bulbs to get to are the reverse light bulbs. You gotta take the plastic piece that holds the jack components off to get to them. The plastic piece is held in by screws and plastic clips/plugs, so after unscrewing the screws, just pull up on the plastic piece with some pressure and the clips/plugs will start releasing. I still haven't got to the glovebox light and the lights under the mirrors outside. Any techs here that can give us tips on how to get to those bulbs? Some other tips...
I used Polarg B1 Hybrid M4 P8713W bulbs in the driving lights. They are glass bulbs that emit a whiter light and only 5 watts. Most importantly, they are glass and will hold up in the heat of the engine compartment and headlight/highbeam housings.
I used Polarg B1 Hybrid M-24 P8722W bulbs in the vanity mirrors. I couldn't find a festoon LED bulb in 1-1/8"L & 1/4W. The M-24 is slightly shorter than 1-1/8 but as long as the edges fit into the clips (once you take the bulb cover off you'll know what i mean), they'll work.
rspjr05, do an internet search for LED auto bulbs and pick one of the companies listed. I used www.superbrightleds.com

LMAO! FINALLY! After being perplexed for so long on how to get to the courtesy light bulbs on the underside of the side view mirrors, I came across a post on CL on another topic that showed how to remove the mirror. The bulb is accessible after removing the mirror. I'm laughing so hard because out of all the bulbs I replaced, these were probably the easiest bulbs to replace and it took me the longest to figure it out. Here is a pic of the LEDs in action in the courtesy lights on the underside of the side view mirrors.
