They ordered the LS600 smart key for my LX570 - it didn't work. They then ordered the smart key for an IS which they *think* will work in my LX570, I should know in the next two days. ~$300 but if it works it'll be very handy. Has anyone in the US gotten one of these to work?

So if we are willing to purchase the Smartcard, can it be used in addition to the two remotes that come with the car? I'm just wondering if the car can be programed for more than two remotes and if there is another component to the Luxury Package (which was not available when we purchased our 09 LX 570) that is required for the Smartcard to work. Since the LX570 has three memory settings (buttons) it would seem logical that you might be able to program two remotes and a Smartcard?

Yes, I can confirm that it can be used in addition to the two remotes that come with the car - I am doing exactly that and both remotes that came with the car work. This is on a '08 LX570. It literally took my dealer about four 'attempts' to get in the right card and I still have no idea what card it really is - but it works. The little key thingy in the card is gone, they said that would not work.

I think you can have as many remotes as you wish programed to operate on the LX570. It is a matter of programming the remotes is it not?

Got one with the SUV in May 2009, 2009 LX 570. We already lost it, my husband lost his walletbuying fireworks 4th of july. Will cast $250 + tax = 277 and $50 fee to set up appt to program it, which will take about 20-30 minutes.
