Most will still be sold at list plus any dealer options they want to ad. This will continue till there is spare stock sitting on the lots. There is nothing spare and they are still selling quite well.

My dealer still says that all it knows it is getting is sold and then there is a list for the unknown units after that!

I got $500 off and 2 years free maintenance. Not much, but it's better than nothing.

Default Lx570

My parents have had mulitple lexus cars and suvs since 1989 startin with a red es250 and worked their way up

Lexus of San Antonio North Park found a white one at Lexus of Tulsa and they got 2000 off the sticker and a free truck ride down to san antonio. They traded a 07 gx470. their salesman is very good. Think his name is Bill Brewer. I bought a loaded 08 GX for 9k off the sticker. :-)

Try Lexus of Orlando - I drove by yesterday and was surprised to see they had lots of LX570s sitting on their lot. They said they are offering $4,000 off MSRP, so I guess the new-gen honeymoon markup days are already over.

Wow, that's surprising to hear, as at least here in the NW, LX570's are still super rare.

FL is one of the states worst-hit by the housing crisis. It is just a matter of time before LX discounting spreads around the country.

What does the housing crisis have to do with LX570 availability?

Still a list of waiting in Jacksonville.

IMO the LX which in all honestly really is a Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series is really is not all that affected by the ecconomic down turn in the United States. If I am not mistaken the Land Crusier was sold in the 70's when oil prices went up, the early 90s when the econony tanked and will survive this economic situation.

The 200 series is selling at one of the shorest days on the lot partly because people want them, lack of comepetition in the uber premium SUV market, have a good reputation for quality and they have a legendary following. Also the buyers of these vehicles usually have a lot of income which is different than middle class Seqouia buyers. .

When the dust settles...SUVs like the 4runner, Seqouia, Explorer, Tahoe, Armada etc will either be discontinued or will be in sold of form they are now...but there will most likely always be a Toyota Land Cruiser or LX570.

Economic conditions impact demand, don't you think?

In Canada each dealer gets allocated two XL570 per month. Anything else much be special ordered. If you order now...it will be built in September with an October delivery.
