Now that I've done it and know how hard it is to explain it, if any of you want, I'd be glad to to take it apart again (that is how easy it is after you've done it once) and post more detailed photos, especially of the plug and wires (sorry i was focused so much on getting it done), and post them. Let me know if you need any more assistance.
Another note: For those that really want to, you could install a rocker switch to switch back and fourth from OEM function and override function.
I do not feel the need to switch back and fourth so I didn't install a switch.
I looked at the full diagram which includes NAV and my UNEXPERT - NOVICE opinion is that this mod will not affect the NAV display on the screen. I am assuming the NAV is just like any other separate input into the screen (like the climate, tuner, cameras, etc.) and will act upon demand when depressing the NAV button.
GOOD LUCK...

I could never do this to my baby! LOL!
I would like to know the secret to making changes to the NAV system while driving. I knew how to with a certain push of buttons on my LX470 but I guess no one know how to on the 570?

LOL That's what I said on all my Lexi. I took the LX out tonight and inadvertently stumbled on the fact that this mod also lets my passenger (wife) who's phone is paired with the LX type a phone number on the screen while driving. I wouldn't be surprised if it allows you to make changes to the NAV while driving but obviously I can't comment on the NAV function. So far so good on the mod for all the functions. I did notice tonight that I had to set the clock, I wondered why, until i remembered that I unplugged the power switch to look at all the plugs on the back of the screen.

Thanks all.
On another ntoe, beware that the LX lowers signifcantly! I reversed into a parking stall the other night and the car auto lowered after shutting the vehicle off. When leaving the parking stall after the event, I heard the mud flaps on the rear scraping the parking stall concrete stop. I didn't think it was that low. Oh well, glad it was only the plastic mud flap.

0260N5.7,
great work. I'm thinking about following your step too, but here is my question. If you cut off the purple wire, the speed sensor will not work, so will the front and rear camera work normal such as driving greater than 7 mph it will shut off or not? Thanks

radjay,
I find it strange that everything worked the first drive and "then reverted back" after. Here are some ?s to help diagnose:
1. Does the DVD still play while moving while everything else reverted back?
2. Did you ground it properly
(the ground may have come loose or not grounded well?)
