bfg all terrains are great in snow and last a long time. i dont know if they make them in the sizes you LX drivers need though.

I mistake, error, someone slamming on the brakes in front and you are toast.

I take it easy in the right lane and I eventually get there. About 10 minutes later. But I feel 10 minutes later than the guy passing me is better than being the ditch.
Although the chain controls werent in place yet, it just felt like the right time to slow down, if you drive in the mountains in the snow, you just know.
The Sheriff has very little tolerance in that area, it seems moreso when you cross the county line. Kinda "good ol boy" mentality but also "make sense" mentality.
I talked with a guy today that was up there same weekend and he pulled over to adjust his chains and some guy was screwing around and drifting around corners, wiped out the side of his car. It was a Subaru that hit him...hmmm, I wonder if same guy..???

I just couldnt be happier with the 570, it is a very understated and underrated car.

According to TireRack.com and DiscountTire.com, there are no "winter" tires made for the OEM size 285/60/20 on the LX570. Shame.
