Default LX Lights

Hi Everyone..

Quick question. Does the LX 570 come with HID headlights? I do not see this listed in the brochure.

TIA

Halogen lamps in the US model and Halogen (projector) on the low beams and Bi-Xenon on the high beams for the Middle-east model.

Uh, I guess I'm wrong then, Its Xenon on high beams only for the Middle-East edition.

Thanks for correcting.

so that means when high beams are on you get the white beam of light, but low beams are still yellowish color? why couldn't Lexus make low beams xenon and high normal

cheap_deal, I wouldn't know but I believe Xenon on high beams is pretty useful on off-roads, and its an off-road SUV from the beginning.. anyways, I guess we agree on if it was HID it would've been awesome.

FYI, Landcruiser too (ME edition) has LX settings from '98 on the luxury package (aka VX-R).

We took it back to the dealer our new LX 570 the following day after picking it up the day before which is still daytime so , we have no idea about the lights we just found out that night joyriding around the neighborhood and noticed the lights are dim , initially they want to install an aftermarket replacement for $1200 but , we told them that the salesman says it comes with HID ( I guess they really want to get rid of it ,it's a leftover 2008 model ) after so much discussion and arguments the dealer decided to install an aftermarket replacement for just the cost of parts which is $350 and a giveaway free pinstripes !

And the salesman at a TOYOTA dealer looked at me wierd once when I said that if I am going to buy this vehicle, I want a second test drive in the evening to test out the lights and interior gauges....
