Default How to protect my front camera?

Hi guys!
one good friend of mine suffer this issue with his camera
the picture will explain !
Due to travelling and sand , dust etc! the front camera got some serious scratches!!!



IT DID EFFECT THE VIEW OF THE CAMERA!


I'm new owner of lexus lx570 and I would like to protect the front camera from scratches !
Any suggestion. do you know any product out there which will protect the camera from scratches perhaps protection film??

Consider it something like a tire that has worn out due to use. I would replace it. Let me know what a new one will cost. Cameras are on everything now days. even laptops have cameras. They usually cost $35.00 to $45.00 but the lexus one will be more.

Maybe some type of transparent tape or something of that nature to help cushion it. But it would probably effect the view from inside the car when u need it. Its a tough one...

LCD screen protector. The one that you use on the cellphone.

some type of film, like the one they use for tinting the windows. that way you'll get a tight fit...

FYI ... The price of the front camera alone would cost around USD 650.0

This is as per the original Toyata/Lexus spare parts agency.
