The Fastest I've driven in a Truck/ SUV was 100mph, simply because I refused to go any faster in something with a lower speed rated tire. In fact, I think many SUVs are rated at 100 or 110 anyway, aside from the LX. It would be hypocritical for me and others to be appalled by this kind driving, because I know that some of us have, once in our lives, tested the limits of our cars. I will say though, that 130MPH in an SUV isn't something I recommend doing, but to each his own.
Glad to know the 3-ton monster can float!!

We've all done stupid things several times in our lives, doesnt give anyone the right to point fingers "to each his own is key."
I drove an unlimited Supercharged tundra in excess of 140MPH (again on an Autobahn).. Was not safe, was not smart, but i was curious to find out the limits of the monster and i did. Do i regret it? NO, would i do it again? NO but i fulfilled a curiousity. I can tell you that was unsafe and i felt it (although i was running on Z-Rated Nitto Rubber [22" TRD wheels]). However, 130MPH in an LX is NOT UNSAFE limited by road conditions and tires. Those trucks are very well engineered, extremely aerodynamic given the mass, very safe and solid.
All of this is a personal opinion. I do not want to offend anyone, the point i am trying to make is that the crave for speed WILL vary from person to person. Everyone should learn to respect different people's actions whether you approve or not.

Uhhh, what a bashing here.
I drive often 310 km/h = 192 miles / hour with my Nissan GT-R.
And also often drive 210 km/h = 130 miles with my LC 200.
It feels save with both cars, in the LC 200 the AHC does his work fine. I had to break hard with both cars - no problem also with high speed.
To take a foto is a little bit silly - but on an empty road, with many lines - not so bad at all.
Remeber: in Germany there is no limit on the Highway/Autobahn. They have also not more deadly crashes than in Switzerland (with a limit of 74mph) in percentage to the population

OP here...
when I took that pic on I-15 I was on newly paved, and completely flat, road where there were no other cars in either direction (visibility was 12+ miles ahead)...so anyone hand-wringing about putting other people in danger are wrong.
I just got back from a 4500 mile trip to canada and back. I managed to hit the 138mph limiter numerous times on a couple legs of the trip. I will say again that this 2010 LX570 is the most comfortable and most quiet vehicle I have ever seen at those speeds. Obviously I would never approach those limits if there were other cars around...but in a completely rural setting it is not unreasonable to do 100+mph and be totally safe.
