Default Money will stay in bank awhile longer

Lots to love about the 2013, but I'm very surprised they didn't deal with the 3d row seats. That's a deal breaker for me and should have been an easy fix. They just take up space and add dead weight. I imagine more people than just me have sent e-mails to corporate asking that any vehicle changes include the 3d row. I'm not looking at other manufacturers -- yet. Our Lexus vehicles have been amazingly reliable, so I think we'll wait to see what they do for 2014.

I believe you can remove them. If you're talking about having them fold into the floor, that won't happen at least until the next gen is released because that will involve going into the floor of the vehicle and that's not something you can just change on the fly, especially a body on frame design where it's not the most efficient design in terms of use of interior cabin space.

You may need to look into the sequoia for that or the 4runner. I believe the GX460 has power fold into the floor seats and seats in the 4runner are optional.

yes, gx460 has seats fold to the floor.

i do also hope the 3rd row on the lx folds down, like that in the GL (similar size). as is now, when up, takes up some space on the sides. but of course, for seats that fold down, the cabin floor usually is a bit higher (seats have to go somewhere).

you can remove the 3rd row seats, though it's not as trivial because they are powered and such. unlike the gx470 3rd row, which are much easier to remove (by comparison)

Default Pricing information is out...

Not nearly as dramatic a price increase as on the Land Cruiser. LX and LC are now roughly $3 or 4k apart (ballpark - I'm not looking at exact figures right now) in base price.
