How much is my LX worth still?
Hey guys,
Downsizing my ride and will sell the LX for something a little smaller. It's a 2009 twilight grey on grey with about 72k miles on the dial. Clean title no accidents and looks brand new.
Been trying to sell it for about $50k with no luck, so I'm trying to see what the prices are going for on these trucks in the southern california region so I can be competitive. There aren't many LX's for sale privately, most are being sold by dealers so it's a little tough to guage the market.
Any feedback?

50+ is probably closer to what you would pay at the dealer for a certified used vehicle (with warranty). I have the same vehicle - mint 2009 grey on grey with 70K miles. My guess is the vehicle is probably more in the 40 to 45 range. Think I paid $63 for mine used about 2 1/2 years ago with 47K. Was offered $42 on trade about a year ago - so my guess is that trade in value has dropped below $40.
Other than gas mileage and tight parking - the vehicle is fantastic. Clearly the best riding (and arguably most reliable) full size SUV out there. Keeping mine until the 13's / 14's fall off lease....
I'd consider moving your price if you want to sell - or keeping it.

I'll drop the price to $46k and see if I have any bites. If not, I'll just keep it

I just looked up wholesale for you.
In S.Cal that vehicle wholesales for $42K. Dealer will offer you just under that. CarMax is a good bottom dollar option if you are curious. Private sale is anything better than the $42K.
