Used LX570
Hello there!
I am on the fence between 2010 LX cpo with 56000 miles or 2008 with 35000 miles. Non-cpo is in better condition cosmetically. Mechanically they both seem okay based on my brief test drive.
Which one should I get? I would appreciate your input! Thanks in advance.

2010 cpo is 48k and 2008 is $52k. 2008 as very clean while 2010cpo has some of its interior plastics scratched up.

Just FYI. Around last October I paid $52k for a 2011 LX570 with 29k miles. Had 1 year of bumper to bumper warranty left and 3 years and 40k miles of drivetrain warranty. Perfect Lexus service history and Texas truck no rust looks like new. I got a good deal from a Austin Toyota dealership. On the service history, go to Lexus site and put in the vin number, you will have to create a ID. Plus any Lexus dealer in your town will help you just go in and tell them you are considering buying one of these vehicles and want to see all the information on their service history. Also tell them you will have the one you buy serviced at their dealership. I would also have them look over the 2008. On the 2010 CPO that dealer can give you all the service history plus the CPO warranty covers you for the next 3 years or 100,000 total miles which ever comes first. The 2008 is way over priced, maybe $42k would be a good deal. The $2010 would be a good deal at $46k. If they want more and won't give you $46k at least have them throw in the 60k mile service with the deal. I would not worry much about the mile difference between these 2 570's?

I bought a Acura NSX from a Carmax in Atlanta back in 1995 and I've sold a couple cars to them. They are a very good company. They have their own background check that is with every car on their site. They also sell for a reasonable price. You can still check the Vin # with the local Lexus dealer to see if it was serviced at Lexus and what was done. Just check it out like any used car. Good luck.

We had a 2009 we traded in March for a 2015. The (Lexus) Dealer initially priced the 2009 at 42K, but I think it ended up selling just under 40K. It had 81K - was mint, all service done at dealer and not a scratch on it.
I would be looking for a flawless example in perfect condition with a perfect service history - even if I had to pay more. A CPO would also be nice. You are looking to spend 40 to 50K - there are many flawless examples out there - just have to be patient and do your homework when you find one.
And as previously mentioned, I would also have the vehicle inspected by a Lexus dealer

A little bit of update:
So I checked out the 2010 one at carmax last night. Cosmetically in mint condition. When i test drove it, for some reason i could feel engine buzz right below my left foot. Not always but i could sense it from time to time. Is this normal? The car also felt a little wobbly. But its serive record was perfect. Every service was done at the lexus dealer. Side moulding has been replaced, wire harness was also replaced (rodent), battery was replaced twice, etc. nothing major. The guy told me that the wobbly feeling is probably from tires not balanced. He said there is 5day return policy and 30 day warranty.
I am also going to look at another 2008 model at another carmax that also has perfect service history at local lexus dealer. This one is offered at $41K and has 55k miles. The carmax guy said the 2010 one might be gone by the time i come back after checking out the 2008 one...

Like I've said before they both are good for 500k+ miles with normal care and factory recommended maintance so that 20K miles does not mean much. $9k is close to 20% difference. If you like one color way more that might be a factor. If they are both California LX's then the rubber components would not be a factor versus Nevada or AZ LX's. If one has been a rust belt LX then I work pick the Calif. One. Texas and Calif. Make the best used LC/LX's based on environment, but I would still put them on a rack before you close the deal and look for rust or corrosion, since this is the kind of vehicle you can own for a very longtime.
