Default New Brakes

Had my '11 LX 570 in for 95,000 service Friday. Had to have my first set of new brake pads since new. Pretty good service life.

Not bad.

I was curious myself about how long to expect the brakes to last. Mine has about 56,000 miles on it.

Not bad- I'm trying to aim for 60k-70k miles on the most recent set. Judging by the lack of wear during the time I've owned it, 100k miles, should I choose to keep mine that long, may not be out of the possibility. I have seldom had to change brake pads on anything I've owned...

That is crazy good. In 35 years of driving I have never had brakes last more than 50k miles. Living in the hills, I am happy with 25k on my other cars, but now I have something to look forward to with the LX.
