More tedious than with the 100 series, but easily doable...

Good Video, the reason I ask about the oil filter is that google and Lexus web can't tell me the oil filter for LX 570; but when I put in Sequoia and Tundra 5.7 L it show the oil filter number I mention above. just don't want to buy the wrong filter online.

See if land cruiser comes up from vendor page. Should all be the same. LC is definitely same, just don't have part number in front of me.

Yes,

Oil filter part number 04152-YZZA4 fit 5.7 L Toyota Land Cruiser, Sequoia, and Tundra. LX 570 is 5.7 L Toyota engine so I bought half a case (5 of them) for $24.xx shipping included.

Just bought from Bell Lexus for Scottsdale, AZ via Amazon five (5) oil filter for $17.57 + $6.63 shipping. Made a mistake of buying the oil filter for my other lexus then buy it again for this LX so I paid shipping twice

Cross ref the Land Cruiser filter...exactly the same.

FAR more tedious, imo. Not only for the filter but also for the oil pan drain. And about the filter...the 100-series uses a screw-on filter, the 200-series a canister filter with a drain and an o-ring on the very bottom, a plastic thingy that's there to drain the canister, a plastic canister base with another o-ring, and the filter itself.

I use the TRD filter PTR43-00081. Better filter media, steel caps on both ends, and Viton o-rings. Check differences here 5.7L TRD v. Toyota Oil Filters

I also replaced the plastic canister base with one made from aluminum...ask for a cap to fit a late model Toyota Venza. Remove the short perforated pipe from the Venza base, replace with the long pipe from the plastic LX base, and you're gtg. Make sure you use a filter wrench that locates on the 2 outside tabs on the canister base.
