Default Keyless door open issues

Hi All,

I have an issue with my LX570 doors. As you know it has a keyless door open system and when you touch the door handle it opens the driver door and when you click the button on the door it closes. These has stopped working for me for some reason that I don't know. The only thing I'm assuming is my 1.5 year old son was playing with the key and he may have disabled the system.
Anybody has an idea of it happened and how can I fix it?

Thanks in advance.
Farid

Possible the battery in the FOB is dead. Without a good battery the system will not unlock.

I've changed the battery couple of days ago.

I would change it again. There is no "disarm" feature that your 1.5 year old son might have stumbled on.

May be time to see a dealer.

Did you try to use it without a case with a new battery?
What about the second spare FOB ? If both don't work, then it is the car. And if the second spare FOB works, then it is the chip of the FOB. Keep changing the batteries and hope for a different result. Not gonna happen.

I noticed on my last few services that my dealer is putting in a new FOB battery each time.
