Default Need help on changing backup light bulb on 2016 LX

I am trying to change the 2016 LX backup lights to LED. According the "Do-it-youself" section of the manual, for accessing the bulb, all you need to remove 4 bolts which hold the plastic cover on lower half the tail gate. Well, I did remove the bolts, the the plastic cover seems still held solid by some clips. Does anyone here had the experiences to remove the cover? I am afraid to force pull the cover might break something...... Any experiences and tips are greatly appreciated.

I did it. Unfortunately, you need to force pull and probably, it's possible to do some damage. Fortunately, I succeeded.

When you pull it, is it just straight up? from any particular corner? Thanks.

I am sorry, it was half a year ago, I do not remember. First I wanted to give it up but later I decided that it must be doable so I used some brutal force :-)

I did it. It is just like you said, a little brutal force (LOL). I did noticed that from lower side it is easy to pull, as soon as the lower edge few clips pup out, the rest of are much easier. Thanks for the advise and encouragement (LOL), nothing is break and now LED backup lights is in. That completed true LX
