What do you do about these terrible plastic screws ???

I bought some extras on ebay. You only need a few of them, many are redundant.

90467-07211, retainer clips.
Best deal I found was these, 20x for 1.38.

Good find.

Yesterday I took a engine bay cover off of my wife's RX330, and all those "clips" broke off. Probably 10+ years of engine heat caused them to melt and deform.

Thanks.
I hated them until I went to the parts department and they showed me how they were supposed to be used. Get them to show you how to install and uninstall them. And take a handful with you.
