Assuming you have "comprehensive" coverage, the truck insurance (at least mine) will cover flood damage.

^Exactly, I know its less, but there was a person on the GS forum who had liability only on a 2 year old GS because he had the cash to cover it" if something went wrong. As for OP, if you can total it and get a new one.

Yes, I would do the same. Total it and get a new one.
