i have a 2011 LX570.
its winter here and when I switch on both the front and rear heater I get hot air out of all the vents.
However , the air coming out of the grill that covers the rear compressor/ blower motor is cold .
I'm not sure if hot air is supposed to come out of this cover or is it the cold air of the blower motor fan or is it a cooling fan of the compressor?
The grill is located way back on the left side of the third row seat where , I presume, the compressor for the rear heating and cooling system is located.

There is no rear compressor, only the front driven directly by the serpentine belt. Sounds like the cold air may be input air to the rear blower.
