HIkari LED's
how's it going, I know I am reviving an old thread but I cam across this over the past few days regarding the LX 570. I just picked up a 2011 and definitely want to upgrade the lighting.
I am considering the Hikari's but wanted to check in with many of you who have installed these for low beam? I like the ideal that the install does't requiring cutting up the dust cover or affect the headlight movement. They have great reviews in amazon and not expensive. How have the Hikari's held up for many of you? Do the bulbs require adjustment for aiming? I
is the color output terribly bluish or is it as I've read which is close to the newest LED's seen on some Toyota cars with LED's?
How about the Hikari for the hi beams? any issues with it working with the DRL?
and lastly the fogs?
many thanks.

thanks Chyll. I am getting excited now, LOL!
Do the bulbs require adjusting them before locking them in place or do they twist in and are set/aimed correctly I the housing?
I clicked on the linked provided by the OP which work, but they don't show the same packing with the Phillips name on the box, but I am guessing it's the same product.

hi-beam / DRL
hello,
I have a 2011, I've installed the Hikari's H11 in low beam and fogs and like the results.
I've tried Hikari 9005 bulbs recommended on this thread but lost the DRL's which I knew could happen. I figured if the OP had success with it working for him, I would try it. I read a few threads in the I8hmud forum as well as in CL but haven't seen much more mentioned about the 9005 bulb and the success of keeping both functions.
I would like to know if anyone had success with a 9005 LED bulb w/no resistor, or with the resistor? I would like to keep the DRL's operational. If you have, were you able to drop the resistors in the headlight housing in order to reinstall the dust cap without modifying the cap?
appreciate any information available
thanks,
Marc
