2014 CPO LX570 loaded with all features - Anything to have checked out or watch for?
Hello, I am an owner of a 100 series 2006 Landcruiser with 180,000 trouble free miles, as well as a nice used 2012 Lexus GX460 with only 63,000 miles on it, and I talked my parents into a very nice used CPO 2014 LX570 last year with only 30,000 miles on it.
They love the LX 570 (as do I), and I want to make sure and have anything taken care of by Lexus way before the 5yr? 100,000 CPO mile warranty expires.
Theirs is a completely loaded out 2014 Black LX570, with every feature imaginable, and I want to make sure and have them take it to the now nearby Lexus dealer if there are certain items to keep an eye on (AHC?) or other unknown quirky features or problems to watch for that I am not used to.
They just moved to the Denver, Colorado area to be near us, so they will actually be using the AWD features of the car some now, vs. where they lived in Texas it was never needed; either way, my parents are very happy with their awesome SUV.

The Lexus AHC system is hydraulic (reservoir is on the passenger side), not sure why you think it has "air shocks". Fluid needs to be changed every 60K. Log into the owner's section of lexus.com, input the VIN, and you can find any scheduled maintenance (including items declined by the PO) performed by a lexus dealer. As you've seen with your 100, Toyota designs the 200 series with the same 25 year / 250K life, assuming the owner maintains the truck by the owners manual.

Picked up a 15 CPO myself and....
1) Seems like you just need to keep on the fluid change and lubrication schedules as they're a LOT of different fluid (Oil, Brake, AHC, Power Steering, Front/Rear Diff, Transfer Case, Coolant, Transmission, and Blinker
) along some lube requirements (Front/Rear Driveshafts and ??? Joints) I've never had on vehicles before.
2) Squeaks, Rattles, unusual wear and or broken parts. For example, my dealer replaced the front cup holder divider transformer thingy as it was buzzing all the time. They tossed it and threw a new one in problem solved.
3) Tire pressures and rotations. The LX570 is a 3 ton beast of a car and is not easy on tires as a result. Keep your pressures correct (Spare as well) for your application (on road/off road) and they will wear evenly and last. Don't mind your pressures and $200+ a tire sooner than you'd like.
As an aside you can buy a dozen or so push rivets (hold engine covers in place) on the 'Bay for <$5 (month to ship) as they break all the time. There is a tray that fits into the cold box to make another level to store things on the bay as well. For the landcruiser but same cold box.
