Default What discount our dealers giving on NEW 2017 LX's

Does anyone know what type of discounts dealers are offering on NEW 2017 LX570's.

I have heard $20-25k off MSRP; any info is greatly appreciated. I am looking to purchase and want to be prepared when I negotiate.

Since it is a year old, there might be a good deal to had.

I am not sure if $20-25K discount is a realistic number for any NEW remaining LX (if there is any). If classified as "Used" might be possible, consider there is essentially no change for 2018(other than OEM LED reverse lights).

Best I heard was $18k off a demo LX570 with 3-4k miles on it, was sold as a new 2017 model (this was Feb 2018). I'm told that as per state/DMV regulations, 2017's cannot be sold as "new" past March or April of 2018.

You can find used 2017's in the market for as low as high-$70s, I'd guess around $81k-$84k would be a reasonable price to pay for a never-titled 2017 LX. Pure guess however on my end.

wtf? so a 2016 dodge couldnt be sold as new on dealer lot with 100 miles now. Bogus! Totally not true. Many leftover cars are sold well into next year and are titled new. Look at infiniti. Late on upgrades and still selling "2017" models

Registration rules may be different in Texas v. Pennsylvania. E.g., Idaho doesn't consider a dealer demo (and for an LX it's usually the dealership owner's wife) as used, and it can be registered new. New registration will show odometer reading at the time of sale. Up here, you often see "new" motorcycles going back 2 or 3 years.

I got 20k off sticker on a 2017 in January. In Texas but bought from Kentucky. Dealer demo with 7k. Warranty wasn’t punched for time purposes but is for miles. If I recall there was like 10k of trunk money at the end of 2017 on these.

The one thing I could see is that the dealers who still have 2017s may be stubborn ones that don’t want to deal. I was surprised at some of the terrible offers I got at the time on leftover trucks. I chased about 20 before I got mine. But I wanted Cabernet leather so wasn’t as flexible.

Good luck and report back.
