Front side window tint
who has tinted their front side windows to match the rear side windows? Cost? Brands that were compatible (matched). I moved to Florida 10 months ago, real hot and sunny.

Never owned a vehicle without doing tint. Usually match front to rear. 3M and Llumar are the only brands I've used. Over 30 vehicles and never had a problem (with the film or the police in TX, NV, and OR).

We are in SoCal.
When we got our LX570, we had 3M Crystalline window tints on ALL windows, INCLUDING windshield. It was done via the Lexus dealership and was flawless. Probably would have been cheaper if we get it on our own, but we did it due to convienence.
BTW, it is difficult to match front windows to the rear windows unless you go really really dark. We have 80% and 60% (?, can't remember exactly. The front windshield is barely noticeable but cut the heat and glare a lot. The sides and rear are just dark enough to make out there is someone in the SUV. Probably can go darker, but wife wanted lighter.
The heat rejection with the 3M Crystalline is amazing!!! Also you will not get tired from the sun glares. Also the AC does not have to work as hard in 106+ F as we took a summer drive from SoCal to St. Loius MO. The AC was blowing so cold my wife had to put on a light sweater!!!

Anyone able to match the front windows to the rear? 3M doesnt seem to match too well. I just got 3M Color Stable 20, and they're too blue/green. We looked at 3M FX premium too but that was too brownish. If anyone tried other brands that better matches the rear, please share~.

I got Madico window tint on mine. Makes a huge difference in blocking heat and U-verse blocking. I got my front windows to match the back, and put limo tint in the back. No one can see in the back. Makes a huge difference in privacy. They also have a life time warranty on it. Pretty happy with the results. Also got it done on my truck and my sedan.

I just had the windows tinted yesterday, 30% all around. To make them match I would've had to go with 15% on the 2 fronts, maybe even 5% and the wife thinks that would be too dark. She even thinks the 30% on the front now is pretty dark at night. I'm second guessing myself now thinking I should've gone with the lighter 50% in all of the rear windows since it already had the privacy glass, then 30% on the 2 fronts would've matched really well. I also had the windshield tinted with the 80% film.
I did it more for the heat resistance and UV protection.
In CO a lot of people do go with the 5% Limo Tint, all of the employees at the shop I went to had this in their personal cars and said they've never been pulled over for the tint.
