Thumbs up

This will give you some homework...200 Series FAQ's .

Any maintenance done from delivery forward by Lexus is online via lexus.com...go to the owners section and proceed.

The truck needs to be inspected underneath, on a lift, with all underbody metal removed. I'd recommend a pre-purchase inspection at a dealer or specialty shop not affiliated with the deal.

Post back if you need more, and hth.

Thanks for the details and tips. I've actually tried looking up vin and service records on lexus.com, but it appears it's from Canada (British Columbia), so doesn't have any service records available.

For example, for a GX460, I figured that water pump should be in good shape, the timing cover leak should be addressed before power train warranty is over, the air pump and valves should be addressed and etc... is there anything particular to LX570 that needs to be addressed?
Not really. The two issues that came up at my 120k service was a leaking valve cover gasket and seized tie rods (which prevented an alignment). I took care of those issues and am now good to go.

I decided to have a coolant flush done as well as other fluids (PS, AHC, tranny, transfer case, etc.). The water pump looks good so I didn’t replace it.

My 2004 Dodge CTD regular cab 6 speed 4x4 weighed 7200 lbs. my 2015 LX570 weighs 6000lbs. Loved them both for different reasons. The Dodge is a unrefined Plunt instrument but strong and effective with an engine that will do 500k plus miles. The LX per Toyota chief engineer was designed for a 25 year service life in a third world country
