Default Has anyone put 16-18 wheels on 08-15 model lx

If anyone has put 2016-2018 21” Tire’s and wheels on 08-15 model can you please tell me what you think and post pics please?

I'd guess they'd DO it because they prefer the look of the 21" wheels and know they won't be doing much/any off-roading and also feel the improved look would outweigh any potential degradation of highway ride quality. Not stupid at all in my book.

I wouldn't care for it if they were putting after-market wheels on the LX but that's not the case here. And at the end of the day, it's his/her truck so who cares what I think. Whatever makes you happy, do it.

16" diameter wheels won't clear the front brake calipers. Minimum is 17".

So, they prefer the look, won't be doing any driving like the truck is designed to do, think the look is "improved" (whatever that means), realize that ride quality (a star feature of the 200 series) may degrade, and know they're limiting themselves severely in the area of replacement tires.

Perhaps not stupid, but definitely illogical.
