Smell of gas is Driving nuts.
LX 570 - 2014. Since I have had this SUV every time it gets hot in Vegas which is lots my car smells like gas. I have taken it to Lexus several times to the point I think they think I am nuts. I have kids and I find it dangerous. I paid so much for this vehicle to have it smell horrible and feel unsafe. Family in town and they don't even want to get in. They feel its dangerous. Am I the only one?

I lived in Vegas the problem could be that you’re over filling gas and it’s getting into the charcoal canister which would cause the smell don’t put any more gas in it after it clicks off that should cure the problem. If that’s not it you might need a new charcoal canister check with the dealer they can check it out. The nice thing about the Lexus dealer in Vegas that I went to in Henderson area was that the fee to diagnose the problem was applied to the cost of fixing the problem.
