Height when Active Suspension Lowered, Fit my Work Garage?
I'm considering buying a 2013 LX570. Vehicle height is stated as 73.4", but that's the regular height. Does anyone know the height if the active ride height suspension is lowered? My wife works on a university campus, and the closest garage to her building is exactly 72" the front entrance overhead clearance gate. Here is a picture of a 2017 Tahoe, and at 74.5" it wont clear the gate.
I don't want to buy an MDX or some other non-V8 SUV, and no way will I buy a Euro, Range Rover or Durango.

You will need to park somewhere else. That is a horribly designed garage, which is why there is a low clearance warning. Is there anywhere else to park?

On my truck I removed the roof rack. This may get you the extra clearance you need. One thing to keep in mind about lowering the suspension is that once you exceed a certain (low) speed like 12mph, it automatically raises the truck back up to normal height.

DO NOT DO IT AS YOU (YOUR WIFE) WILL RUN INTO A NASTY SURPRISE WHEN YOU EXCEED THE MPH AND THE LX AUTOMATICALLY RAISES UP!!!
One option MAYBE is to get 4 sets of "smaller wheels and tires"............But the LX will look weird and NOT SAFE because the difference in the diameter needed is too much.
Another option MAYBE somehow DEACTIVATE the auto raising feature until you manually activate it? I don't know if this is even possible?
I would recommend getting a different vehicle or just have to park the LX somewhere else.

I scraped the rails of my roof rack on several borderline L.A. garages. Too close. If floors are sloped, which in most garages they are, you'll probably need a good 5" for safe clearance. Get her another car.

I talked with the head facilities guy at the university, and learned from him that parking deck regulations (don't know whose) required the hanging warning bar at the entrance to a deck be set at least three inches LOWER than the minimum clearance spot in the parking deck structure.
I many times had worried passengers when my roof would hit the danger bar at the entrance.
