Default Here we go again!

Im jumping over here from the GX section. I have a GX460 that I have been building over the last year and a ½. We just picked up an 2013 LX570 for the wife. I have been instructed "NO MODS", but she does want some A/T tires. I look forward to reading up on this page. Just wanted to take a minute to introduce myself and the vehicles. Heres a link to the build on the GX. GX460

Wow, beautiful GX! I've never seen any Lexus at Imogene pass! To be honest, I always go there with my modified Jeep JK. But it's not so difficult trail, it's probably doable with LX, I should try it next time :-)

I went with the BFG ATK02 285 5520 gives you 10.1 inches of tread which is great for stability with all terrain on the road. Also love the looks

Thanks for the compliments! You are right it wasn't that difficult, but the views are amazing! I passed a LC200 and a Nissan Titan while up there and that was the only non jeep vehicles lol. I owned a Jeep JKU and loved it but it wasn't practical anymore so we traded it for the LX. I really dig the GX/150 platform it is a solid platform to start with. Look forward to seeing what this group is doing with the LX.

Thanks for the feedback, I have the KO2 on the GX currently but have been having issues getting them to balance recently and now one of them is causing the front end to pull. I am thinking about doing the Nitto Terra Grappler on the LX and the Ridge Grappler on the GX. I was a Toyo guy up until the BFG KO2 and so far not impressed.

I know this is an older thread.. I’ve been considering KO2s and I’m interested what you’ve got on the GX now. You mention grapplers before, any comments?

Do you run with the Texas-required front license plate on the GX on public roads, and take it off when you off-road?

Very nice GX build and congrat on your new LX. Good to see people actually enjoying their GX off-road.
