Default New to the Lexus club

Recently purchased an used 2016 LX 570 and enjoying the ride quality so far. I've been driving Gwagons for the past decade but wanted additional space for gear (fridge, camping gear.etc) and a smoother ride as the G isn't the best car for extended driving. I've taken my G550 on some long road trips (5000-7000 miles, TX to Canada, and multiple Western states ones). Looking fwd to doing the same with the 570 starting in summer 2018 (TX to Dalton Highway/Prudhoe Bay is up next).
I also ended up purchasing the 10Y/128K Lexus Platinum VSA (~$3k) for peace of mind. My previous G, while a fun car was in the shop for multiple repairs (steering shaft, steering pump, new radiator, and even removal of entire dash for some ac repair). While all covered under warranty, I did not want to deal with the potential cost of future repairs.

NICE RIDE!!!!

Reliability and headache free is a plus with a Lexus. For many years my wife and I had MB's. Two hard top convertibles and others.... One of which was a SLK55 AMG HARDTOP CONVERTIBLE. While no major issues and they were all covered under warranty, but it was the constant headaches of going to the MB dealers and back and forth that made us decide to just forget about the MB's and stick with Lexus.

Congrats and welcome to the Lexus family....
