just out of curiosity , other than the length and width of the raptor, what else about the lx 570 did you like better ? I currently own a 2017 raptor and I just test drove a 2018 LX 570. I liked everything about the LX 570 better except the depreciation compared to a ford raptor. I want to pull the trigger but unfortunately I am dealing with depreciation and a very arrogant Lexus dealer, due to the fact that we have 1 Lexus dealer in the state and they are constantly $ 3000.00 to $ 5000.00 high. If I go with a LX 570 I will probably buy one out of state.

The ford dealers thought they were doing me a favor selling the car over msrp. lack of inventory finding one that matched my spec. i dont really need a flat bed. interior looks and a tiny bit of perception

Thank you.

I thought I was the only one that shopped a Raptor vs. The LX 570. The only factor for me is that the raptor holds its value better than the LX 570.

How are you enjoying the LX 570 so far ? Do you feel it is worth the $ 93,000.00 ? any regrets ?

I really don't need to know...just thought it might help another here avoid dealer torture.

After getting over my dealership experience i really like the car. I dont actually need a truck this big but i like the road presence. I certainly feel the car is missing out on HP and could certainly benefit from using aluminum. As far as being worth 93k I would say if you want a great interior as well as some prestige it is. If you can do without the interior and dont plan on keeping the car very long you can get 75% of the car by buying a platinum ford explorer for about 50k. You seem to be fixated on resale. Why buy a car for the sole reason of being able to lose less money on it?

Thank you. I agree with most of what you are saying, and you are right about losing money. I have been in a pick up truck most of my life, and I love the raptor, but I really like the quality of the LX 570 and the size. For me it is the perfect size. IT'S about 4.5 feet shorter than the raptor. And I really like the interior and the driving dynamics of the LX 570.

Although to find a ford explorer to come close to a LX 570 you are talking $ 79,000.00 loaded. The navigator black label is $ 95,000.00.

The LX is a much better ride than the raptor. I owned two 2013 and currently 2018, I paid 80,500 msrp 99,200 that was back in August in So Cal.
The LX is built to last and you have a piece of mind, forget the deprecation if you can spend $85k on a truck who care just enjoy it.
Life is too short to worry about these little things, you are here to have a good time and here for a short time.

The 2018 is a much better ride than the 2013 and feels solid while the 2013 sometimes feel like a boat.

Thank you for the input. YOU did a great job getting a $ 99,000.00 MSRP LX 570 FOR $ 80,000.00. If you don't mind me asking, how did you do that ? The best I can do is $ 87,000.00.

I think you are correct, I am going to buy a lx 570, Although I may need to buy one out of state or buy a 2017 for around $ 72,000.00 to $ 76,000.00.

Thank You.

You need to buy out of state probably So Cal. Not much 2018 are available they were clearing them out. If you not in a rush wait till they have that holiday deal.
Dec to Remember?

So Cal dealers are more aggressive. Just keep grinding them and you will find a dealer willing to deal.

lexus in NJ (pm me for name), I actually used this forum to negotiate the price; at that time the rebate on the lx was 7000 or 7500 that also helped. MRSP 100k. sweet deal.
I also picked up a GX 11k off 2 weeks later same dealer

also lexus in PA was giving similar deal;

start with true price, then work from there/ I emailed pretty much few dealers around me. local dealers weren't moving. once you have the price show them that members here are getting at low 80s. LX is a slow mover if the dealer is motivated and its end of the month they will negotiate hard.
I paid 82.5, no demo or anything had 11 miles on. the car.

Thank you for the info and reply, but I hate to say it, but I have thrown in the towel. The Lexus dealer up here in maine, and they are the only one which is the problem, have decided to be real difficult to deal with. Starting in November I guess Lexus pulled back some the rebates money on the LX 570 that was offered in October, so my dealer pulled back $ 2000.00 dollars and they won't budge. When I confronted them about other dealers in other states being $ 82 to $ 85,000.00 on left over 2018's there answer is we can not go any cheaper because we are part of the Lexus plus program, whatever that bull**** means. So I turned in my 2016 GSF THAT I was leasing, took my $ 6000.00 check from opting out of the lease early, because I did a one time lease pay, and I will keep the raptor, which holds its value ALOT better than the LX 570 and I will be buying a GT 350 mustang, which as well holds its value ALOT better than the GSF. I appreciate the help but I just don't have time to fly all over the country looking at LX 570's. And I don't mind having a vehicle shipped, but there is no way I am buying a $ 100,000.00 vehicle without test driving it first.
