Default Advice on All Weather Floor Liners

I just got a 2016 LX570 and I'm trying to decide between the OEM and Weathertech's all weather floor liners. Anyone have any experience with the OEM?

"All weather" typically may mean water and mud...Weather Tech has a decent lip around the outside of the mat. My choice is Husky, as it has a taller lip...helpful with dog mud and game blood.

I purchased the Husky for my '17 LX and I'm very happy with them, far better than the weather tech's I had in my previous car

I decided a few years ago that it made no sense for me to keep the original carpeted mats covered up with plastic or rubber, so that the next owner would get the enjoyment from them rather than me. As I recall, the WeatherTech liners that I had at the time had enough of a lip along the outside back of the driver's side liner that I would catch the sole of my shoe on it every time I got into the LX, so based on that personal experience I would not go with WeatherTech. Before that I had the OEM Lexus rubber mats, and I liked the OEM accessory floor mats much better. The OEM were mats, though, not liners with raised edges.

The Lexus rubber mats had more of a pebbled surface, with grooves, and were harder to clean than the WeatherTechs with a vacuum cleaner alone. Both required removal, scrubbing and rinsing to really get them free of dirt. I find just the carpet alone easier to clean. Once the carpet mat dries, it vacuum cleans easily without having to remove it.. The factory carpet mat is pretty skimpy in the area covered on the driver's side.

I am using OEM mats. No question about fitment. It doesn't look tacky at all and you still have the Lexus Badge on them.

Someone, made a point regarding getting it
cleansed. No issue on my end. It is just like any other mats out there. You either vacuum or rinse it. My 2.

Or your other option is to make one yourself.
Here's an example of what I did with my other SUV.

Thank you all for your replies. I like the OEM look but it doesn't go deep enough so I ended up buying Husky. I will let you know how they are.

I agree with you, husky are better than weather tech. I had weather tech in my older 570. These huskys seems like they cover more from sides of door where you enter = less debris going in the actual carpet.

Whether or not the mats show "the Lexus badge" never occurred to me when I selected the Husky mats.
