The Toyo Proxes have a great looking tread pattern, but I tend to favor a longer lasting tire like the Open Country IIs, which remind me a lot of the Michelin LTXs. Prices on both are very good given the warranty/wear ratings. The Proxes are not out of contention. Thanks for the feedback.
I guess I will be finding out. Saw a couple of listings on ebay from 1700 to 2700 for sets of 4. With fitment for LX, LC, Sequoia and Tundra, there might be.
I have them in storage so it's not a huge deal if I don't sell them quickly. Hopefully the newer tires make them more tempting too. They are great looking wheels for people that like the larger diameter.
Rivian seems to be making 275/55R/R21 their stock tire size, hopefully that encourages some development in this size. Pirelli Scorpion Verde is their default tire size, would be nice if they made a Scorpion Off Road version in this size.

Off-road tires on 21" rims will beat you and your truck...it's simply due to lack of sidewall to absorb bumps.
I read the release - you should also be cautious of low rolling resistant tires on the LX. These tires will be specifically designed for EV and MPG - not designed for all season or even moderate off roading.
A little over a year ago I replaced the original Dunlap on my 17 LX570 with Yokohama at 22k miles as I was having vibration at highway speed, the tires had 5/16" tread at the time of replacement. New tires resolved the vibration issue and they are doing fine, I currently have 27k miles on the clock, time will tell how the tires will hold up.
No Michelin tires with 21 size were available at the time, if they were I would have chosen them for sure irrespective of the price. I never had issues with Michelin tires on all my previous vehicles and they last long time.
I don't like the looks of the 18" wheels on this truck and I don't do off road wheeling.
