Accessing the third row in Lexus LX
How do you access the third row from the inside? Does the second row have a button that you press and it flips forward automatically? Or is it a lever that you manually have to pull and then pull the seat forward? I currently have the GX and it is difficult to access the third row from the inside for me and definitely not possible for a child to do it. Thanks.

The LX access is a bit harder than the GX...the seat is heavier (has a power slider vs. manual)
and the release lever is buried and flush to the seat side whereas the GX is just the recline lever.
Your GX curbside seat scoots forward and the seatback leans forward...the LX must be folded
and then manually tumbled up against the front seat. If the passenger seat is anywhere near the
back of its travel and/or reclined and/or has the factory Rear Entertainment Screen you will have
a tough time keeping the 2nd row seat from falling back.

I send the kids through the middle over the carpeted center pull down. I don't think I have ever folded the middle row up for rear access and Im more likely to send a 'full sized person' through the rear than to do that.
