Ceramic Coating...

The "ceramic pro" (it has to be good, it has "pro" in the name) has multiple products, the least expensive being a "top coat" that lasts about a year. You'll want their "9H" product to get close to a real ceramic.

There have been zillions of "ceramic" coatings since the originals came out and the quality varies - but - in general, a good ceramic coating doesn't require any special products for upkeep, nor does it have a "reapply" time period.

I have a coating called 22PLE applied by a detailer on one car and Gtechniq by a detailer on another car. The 22ple does better if you have a full clear bra. On bare metal I would prefer the Gtechniq. Gtechniq product is Crystal Sreum + EXOV4. If you have a dealer in your area ask them for the price. The cost to do polish plus application should be around $750-$1250. Gtecniq and 22ple should last around 4-6 years with a hand wash regime.
