Default Where do you guys park you car? fits in garage?

So I have a 3 car garage but its a pain to put this in garage, I am inches away of hitting the mirrors every time and the sensors go crazy from every side. I HATE my car parked in the sun. If its there I put a shade in the front and all other windows are tinted. just wondering about you guys. Do you put this in the garage?

I park in the garage with no issues. The only concern I would ever have is if I open the rear if the hatch will hit the garage door. The SUV is large so I am starting to wonder if I should back into parking spots so I can get out easier.

I park it as close to the wall so the rear hatch opens but my two little boys always go out and take their sports stuff out. If the garage door is open and they close it while the hatch is open I think it would a disaster. It’s too much stress.

I park in the garage next to our LS460L (almost identical in length to the LX). We have a 3 car garage, but it's 2 wide with the 3rd spot tandem on the right side of our garage. No issues getting both of these large vehicles in our garage - I'm with you on being a few inches away with the mirrors, etc. as you enter and exit but I just turn the sensors off and have backed in and out so many times I could do it with my eyes closed.

It's definitely tight, we make it work, have to open the doors very carefully, but beats the alternative of parking outside. With a ski rack on top it has less than 1" of clearance.

I park outside now, nut in my previous house I parked in the garage. I made it a habit to push the switch to fold in the side mirrors as I drove I turned into the driveway. Luckily my wife drives an IS-C which is fairly small.

Since I've been parking the LX outdoors the past 4 years the headlight covers have really gotten cloudy from UV exposure. The IS-C, bought the same month and year and always garage parked, still has crystal clear headlights. Another noticeable difference is the windshields. The LX has pretty bad mineral deposit spots, while the IS windshield still looks new..

I'm inside and outside depending on the day, and usually it only gets driven if we go somewhere as a group. Ours fits in our garage fine, even has a Thule box on top. Guessing the variance in garage sizes plays a role in the annoyance level - I don't remember mirrors being tight or sensors going off. I'll pay more attention just in case!

I started folding the mirrors after the day my wife borrowed the LX and backed out of the garage. Clipped the right hand mirror on the garage door frame to the tune of around $500 for a replacement. The garage was fine. I always parked as close as I could on the right to give her plenty of room to manuever her IS parked to my left. I'd try to clear the LX side mirror pulling in by no more than an inch.

By the way, she didn't tell me. She drove straight to the dealer and had the mirror replaced. I only found out when the service advisor spilled the beans at my next service visit. She still thinks she pulled a fast one.

How in the heck do you get out of your LX570 when it's parked next to that RCF? Do you back it in and exit in the little space where the green mat is?

That rcf looks nice, I am trying to pick up a GSF. If you can fit your lx while gone rcf is there you got some skills.

The LX is shorter than my 750Li and just about as wide. Garage is large and tall, so no problem. Still have room for filing cabinet and full open drawers.

very true every time I see someone driving those it amazes me, I have a few folks in my neighborhood have escalades and navigators they are always parked outside.
