Default No 300 Series for the U.S.?

Hard to believe, but here is article saying that no 300 for U.S. market. Say it ain't so!

Current '16 LX owner. If this is true, and the 300 will only be Lexus, might just get a 200 LC as next vehicle. Have driven a '15 and '18 LC, and truth be told, the LX ride is better, even with the 21" wheels. But, I would love to have a "truck" to play with, and if no more Toyota 300 platform, might have to bite and get one now.

It makes sense to discontinue LC as LX is not that much more expensive. Question is when the new 300 LX is coming?
