Amazon Music On Mark Levinson WOW!
Amazon Music HD just launched and offers tons of catalogues in HD (CD quality) and Ultra HD! Free for 90 days trial.
I am an Apple Music guy and stream over Bluetooth on the Mark Levinson. It sounds good but Amazon Music totally blows it away! You are no longer able to tell you are streaming over Bluetooth. It sounds as if my ears have been opened up. The same songs I’ve listened too over and over sound so much clearer with more detail. Now I am totally impressed by the Mark Levinson system. Even older songs sounds as if they were recorded today. I am definitely canceling my Apple Music subscription!

you can turn on the high fidelity option on the iphone XS Max, in iTunes. Says the stream may take longer to begin. I'm near Silicon Valley so the LTE is fine, no noticeable delay since turning the option on.

I've been using Tidal for a while now, it is indeed a huge difference. I just got a trial of Amazon Music HD and listened to the same tracks back to back in their Ultra HD and Tidal's Master quality and IMHO, Tidal sounds better. Amazon does have a wider library and they seem to have more Ultra HD music.
Apple Music/iTunes is nowhere close even on the highest settings. Free Pandora is an order of magnitude less quality.

Are you hardwired USB or Bluetooth? There wont be a difference over Bluetooth because the data stream gets compressed.

BT
I only stream music via BT, it's far too convenient for me not too, so I'll probably end up canceling Amazon before it's all said done since Im really not utilizing to its fullest potential.

Yeah if you're streaming over BT none of these options are going to do anything for you, its being compressed back down to where Pandora is.
