UGiven the chance to choose between LX450d or the LX570, which would you opt with the condition that you will use it for the long term like 10 years and about 20,000 miles per year..

It really depends on the quality of the fuel that is available where you are located. The LX450d uses a high pressure common rail diesel engine with injectors that will not tolerate bad fuel. By bad fuel, I mean water contaminated fuel. So if you are able to buy the LX450d in a country where fuel quality is questionable, it may not go the distance, unlike the petrol/gasoline LX570 which may tolerate a bad batch of fuel better.
All things being equal, the LX450d seems to miss out on a lot of features that a 200 Series diesel offers, e.g. no 2nd fuel tank, no ventilated seats, no sunroof, no Mark Levinson sound system - this is specific to the Australian market anyway.
All things being equal, the LX450d seems to miss out on a lot of features that a 200 Series diesel offers, e.g. no 2nd fuel tank, no ventilated seats, no sunroof, no Mark Levinson sound system - this is specific to the Australian market anyway.

I went to LX450D recently after 10 years of owning LX570. And I am saving a lot on my trips. LX450d has 2nd fuel tank, ventilated seats, sunroof, Mark Levinson sound system, Blank spot monitor. Tthis is specific to the Saudi market .

Does the LX450d for the Saudi market have AHC (Active Height Control) like the LX570? Is that a 5 seater or 7 seater?
I had a look at a the Lexus UAE website but I couldn't find the LX450d, only the LX5470 - https://www.lexus.ae/new-cars/lx/
EDIT: oops, I was on the wrong website. I have found the LX450d here: https://www.lexus.com.sa/en/LX
Strange that the LX450d is available in Saudi Arabia but not United Arab Emirates.
In terms of pricing, is the LX450d cheaper or dearer compared to the LX570? I couldn't find pricing information on the Saudi site.
