Hi all-
I recently purchased a 2015 LX in Nebula gray. It was missing the painted rear bumper hitch cover and i'm looking to find one. I'm aware the 2013-15 has the same hitch cover, but can anyone tell me if a cover from model years before or after 2013-15 will fit as well?
As of now it seems impossible to find a cover for the 2015 in Nebula gray and am just looking to see if other options exist.

I'd simply call a local dealer and see what's available. My '13 came without a hitch cover, the color is "Midnight Magnetic Gray" and when I ordered it in 2015 all colors were available. Worst case, find one and paint it with a can of Toyota or Lexus touchup paint, or have it painted. IIRC, the cover was in the $100 or so range.

I've checked with the dealer and they can only get me an unpainted one. I'd prefer it painted, which is why i'm curious if anyone knows whether the pre-2013 or more likely the 2016+ LX hitch covers fit. That way i could order one pre-painted in those model-year ranges.
Anyone know if the 2016+ cover fits on a 2015?

You can paint it yourself. Just take your time and do the proper sanding. The cover is not a highly noticeable item anyway. Or just drop the cover off at a local paint and body shop.

Nebula Gray is a standard Toyota paint color used on various Toyota and Lexus models. The same color on some Toyotas is called Mercury Gray Metallic. The Toyota/Lexus paint code is 1H9. The color is available in spray cans from Duplicolor, and other sources. Major auto paint manufacturers like Ditzler also make this color. I bought a can directly from my dealer’s parts department, and it is the AutomotiveTouchup brand. I also bought a spray can of Gloss Clearcoat, same brand.

I painted a side mirror with it myself. It did give me an excuse to buy another power tool - a Griots Garage 3 inch random orbital sander. I could have probably done as well with hand sanding and buffing, but the same sander does a super and quick job of restoring cloudy headlights. I’ve done the LX headlights twice now.
