Hi all,
My first post to the forums! I'm looking at purchasing a used LX570, and I notice there is a substantial price difference (5000-7000) between 2008-2009 and 2013 LX570s with similar miles. It seems that the 2013s have newer headlights, 5 stage crawl control, and a slightly updated infotainment system. Is it worth getting a 2013 over a 2009? Any other features that I'm missing that are different (bluetooth audio etc)?
Thanks!
Marcus

Thanks. Yes I agree that the 2013 aesthetically is not the greatest on the front end. I prefer the 2008-2009 front end. I also read that the 2013 has a trailer sway control feature, which could be useful. I'm still leaning towards a 2008 or 2009.

I personally like the updated taillight (I have a MY15). also headlights have LED strip and HID / Xenon (just something I like to have for years). If you plan on keeping it for long long time, then get the one you like. I tend to keep my cars 15-20yrs.

Thanks for the update! The 2013 having the touchscreen may push me towards getting that one. It's a California car too, also likely to be rust free. May be worth the high price and cost of shipping it.

I am confused as to what you're asking. Are you talking about the infotainment screen up front to control the radio, climate controls etc? They are all touch screen. If you're talking about the entertainment screens for the rear passengers they are all controlled via a remote control in the center console lid of the 2nd row. As far as I know, even the 2020 does not have touch screen rear seat entertainment. I much prefer the seat mounted screens of the 2013 to the roof mounted single screen of the earlier versions.

I didn't realize that the 2008 and 2009 had touch screens! I haven't seen one yet in person. Likely buying out of state. Still leaning towards 2013 for the reasons mentioned above. Thanks for the update!

You might save money by flying it out and driving it back. Was the truck in California from delivery on? California does get tons of snow in some years.
