Hey y'all! Just got my 15 LX570 a few weeks ago. Love this car...I loved my 13 LS460F, but this truck is so much better than my wife's Denali! Anything I should keep an eye on, or look to upgrade?

Welcome to CL and congrats on your new ride.
Something to keep an eye on? Yes, let you wife know about what’s nice about the Denali (tow rating, space behind 3rd row, anything). Of course, you can ignore that but you may have to “upgrade” her ride too
But maybe that’s in the cards anyway ![Smilie](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Not long ago, I replaced my 2003 LC with a recent model LX. One night my wife came home complaining that she couldn’t see well on the drive home. She said that her headlights seemed dim and not bright like on my LX. So we found a nice GX460 to replace her 2001 LX.
Happy wife happy life, YMMV

Care to share any comparisons to the LS in build quality, power, ride quality, refinement? Interested to hear because some say the LX is like an LS SUV but I’ve heard some say the LX is a step down from the LS.

Congrats!!! I also have a MY15 LX. But difference coming from the LS though... but yes it's alot different than the GMC / Chevy / Caddy / Ford / Lincoln SUVs... So far my LX has gone just part 60k miles, only warrantied items (besides normal wear and tear items) were the rear hatch struts (coming up slow / stalled when not using the electronic tail gate). Otherwise when reaching 90k+ keep an eye out on the Radiator (the top of the radiator where the 'stamp' is tend to leak). Otherwise have fun! Enjoy the new ride.

Congrats! Any pics? I bought my 13 LX570 10 months ago and love every time I step into it.

From the standpoint of most LX's are not utilized to their full abilities, an LS may be better or worse...I know nothing about the LS, other than it's just another car.
Utilized for what Toyota designed it to do, the LX would leave the LS far behind. Also, not sure if the 200 Series 20 year and 250K mile design life would apply to the LS.

Those saying a step down don't understand comparing apples to oranges. We understand the old saying about opinions. ![Wink](https://www.clublexus.com/forums/images/smilies/wink.gif)

I dont know if call an upgrade, The LS in my opinion is much better cruiser and way more comfortable. LX is more so like a truck. Congrats on the LX, only thing ...I added is little tray on top of the cooler so I can keep change and other small stuff on the SUV.

Congrats- I own a '10 LS460L and a '10 LX570. Very different vehicles but both awesome in their own regard. Out of curiosity, what year is the Denali and what do you like better about the LX? I just did 500 miles in a rental Yukon and was actually really pleased with it and would consider that as a replacement to our LX as I think it has some benefits for our family over the LX. Welcome to CL.
