Happy to join LX club with the purchase of 2020 LX. Went with black exterior with moonlight white interior color choice.
Managed to get little over 13k off of MSRP. Purchased from Hendrick Lexus , Charlotte. Absolutely an amazing experience. Have dealt with many dealerships , but this one simply the best in my experience. Gave good deal on trade in too.
Very quite and comparable to LS ride. Drive back home, at 312 miles filled gas, calculation shows 20 mpg !. Trip meter showed 16.2. May be still learning .
So far happy with gas mileage. Hope it maintains above 18 mpg.
Any leather treatment applied? (since it's a very light color - even jeans can stain seats)
Yes, Lexus leather is known to get strained with jean color. I frequently apply various leather cleaner / conditioner in other cars. So far non has permanent strain in seats. I am thinking of going with Carpro Cquartz leather coating with LX. For paint, on other cars have used Modesta paint coating and prefer to go with the same on LX too. But with covid finding it harder to get that imported.
She's gorgeous! Congratulations!! Is your LX an Inspirations series? I wasn't aware it was offered with white color leather on non-inspiration series.
This is not an inspirational series. Inspirational series have blacked-out exterior , head and fog lights, rims etc. Not sure that trim offers moonlight(white) seats.
The one I purchased is sports trims. It is typically offered in black or cabernet color seats or exclusive moonlight white seats with black semi-aniline headliner. There are only few available across the nation with moonlight interior. Of which, black or nebula exterior are extremely rare. That makes negotiations tough .
2021 trims didn't show white interior. That's why decided not to wait.
@Satiger congrats on your purchase!
Question (and feel free to respond via PM if you don't want to divulge answers).
Wife has a 16 LX thinking of trading up because it wasn't her ideal color choice (among other things) - thinking of going to a new LandCruiser (MSRP $87k, we're getting quotes around $82k). With $13k off, is it safe to say you got your LX in the mid-high $80s?
