Any recommendations to re-adhere the "wood" trim on the shifter?

First thing I noticed is that your gear lever is backward (preference maybe but the wood typically is forward or maybe just doing it to glue back), either way wanted to point it out.

to answer your question, 3m plastic & emblem adhesive should work great - available Amazon or any major auto parts store
