Update: I replaced the alternator but still problems are there. The engine started for few times after resetting the error codes but again not starting.

It's likely not a coincidence that this happened after you washed under the hood. In general you need to be really careful doing this as you are learning. You should use as little water as possible and disconnect the battery when doing so - and it's important to let everything dry.
I'm afraid I'm not much help but you've likely got water in some place that it's not meant to be - could be the fuse block on the right side of the hood above the battery, or even the ECU.

Does the car try to start or not at all? I worked at a dealership many years ago and we had a few 4 cyl Camry's that we got a little too wet. We got the air compressor out and started opening everything up to blow out the cracks and crevices. I'd pull the spark plug coils and blow it all out. Same with the fuse box.
This is now why I only wipe everything down with a microfiber and cleaning solution.

water damage is tough to pin point, it can also be multiple faults too (hopefully not).... but need to tackle it one by one. Think back when u spray water at the engine bay, which area did u spray (hopefully not the entire engine bay front to back and side to side w/ all plastic covers off. Like what OP said, it's very likely electrical related. When u tried to start the vehicle, did it crank? Did it sound like a machine gun? Or the engine actually turned but not starting? If there are error codes stored, resetting will not help as they'll keep coming back. If u spray mostly the front part of the engine bay, maybe focus that area. A faulty MAF sensor will prevent vehicle from starting... Unplug the MAF and try to start, and see if u experience the same no start issue... If nothing changes (whether the MAF is plugged in / not), u can try replacing the MAF sensor. Key on engine off, put B+ onto starter and see if engine will turn (this may be more of a mechanic to do though). ABS fault should not trigger a no start IMO. There are some other comp boxes in the bay area but that'll take more diagnosis to pin point which box fails.

I recently had some less severe electrical issues after washing under the hood of my wife's 2011 LX. My wife noticed some odd behavior while driving--flashing lights/doors unlocking. I took it for a drive and a few minutes into my trip, I saw an indicator that my lift gate was open when it was not, the hazards/signals briefly flashing, and the doors unlocking. I parked in the sun with hood open for a day or so. It has been a few weeks, and we have not had this repeat.
